foreign language. Social studies is just average. She is starting to figure out what colleges to look at and obviously with that comes what majors she wants to focus in. Any suggestions for majors? I was a STEM major so can’t really help with options she should look at personally. Tia.

she does not want journalism, more like technical writing. she will likely add on a double major after she knows a bit more what she is interested in. perhaps marketing, communications or even biology if she wants to get into medical writing. i am in finance and dh is in IT so we were a little worried about job prospects as well, but i really do think that is unfounded. plenty of opportunities for students with the critical thinking skills and communication earned from an engish degree.

As someone who is a 1k MMR feeder who studies dragons, I am telling you, specifically, in dota, no one calls wyverns dragons. If you want to be "specific" like you said, then you shouldn't either. They're not the same thing. If you're saying "dragon family" you're referring to the taxonomic grouping of Varanidae, which includes things from wyverns to eldwurms to drakes. So your reasoning for calling a wyvern a dragon is because random people "call the flying lizards dragons?" Let's get gyarados and charizards in there, then, too. Also, calling someone a noob or a feeder? It's not one or the other, that's not how taxonomy works. They're both. A wyvern is a wyvern and a member of the dragon family. But that's not what you said. • Ugh, middle school. DD had a lot of drama with her friends for a few years (sometimes she was the target, sometimes not) but they were exhausting. Much better in 8th grade....(more) 3-19-2019 9:25am

And also encourage her to find another group (although that's hard to do) and see if she can sit somewhere else during lunch (which is usually where this bullshit happens in middle).

constantly tell the one another what someone said. And, when they do, they say it in a very salacious, as to provoke a fight / drama. It's really horrible, frankly.

never just the movie. The kids want to go and eat afterward, etc. Feel stuck in the middle. Either my kids doesn't have outing/playdate or goes and I spend a fortune. She is to get together with a girl tomorrow and the girl already told her to bring money because they're going out to eat. You can't just eat pizza?
