with the friend. In some ways I'm overthinking this, because this is just what happens with friendships in elementary school, but it seems complicated for two ways. First both kids are SN, though dc's issues are more LD and his friend's issues are more social. I think this is a big part of why they were growing apart, but I want dc to be accepting of kids with other issues. I realize though I have to let him pick his own friends. The other is that the friend's mother called me about a playdate and DC keeps saying he doesn't want to, and I don't know what to say to her.
