Their regular job they could afford more, except that the price of everything has gone way up, not keeping pace with wages. Middle class could buy homes in the 50-70's. Not any more. So the bottom line...I don't know
It's been a very good thing for our economy, lowers input costs for the things we buy and frees up human capital to focus on higher value-added, better paying employment options....(more)6-6-2016 9:21am
Also creates a buying class for the things we export. Regulation is important, however to prevent exploitation, and also spending on things like transition to new employment need to happen for it to work.
