reality and fear set in, feels overwhelming, feels like we're too old (40), feels like we'll be cutting ourselves off from a decent retirement b/c of sending a kid to college in 60s. We both don't have siblings and wanted a larger family for our kids. There was once when I became pregnant (at least I think I was) but then started to bleed in three weeks and that was that. When I did get preg I wasn't excited. I was nervous as SHIT. I think this was probably just the beginning and I would have calmed with time, but having had that experience makes dh and I even more cautious. Time is running out. Either its right or it isn't.
