WWYD? Dd's camp requests that the kids bring flip flops or other rubber soled sandals to wear by the pool, but dd says none of the kids ever wear them. I'm not generally OCD, but... (more)
that skeeves me out and I don't want her getting athlete's foot or something. Would it be weird of me to call the camp director and say, "could you please tell her counselors to make them wear sandals"?

- did you try benadryl? my ds has terrible reactions to bug bites and they take a long time to go away on him. 7-17-2012 11:04am
- ped recommended claritin as it's not drowsy. it does NOTHING for her. it's supposed to be 24 hours. i give it around 6pm and she wakes up in the middle of the night complaining...(more) 7-17-2012 11:06am
- i'd do benadryl at bedtime--actually, you can give it every 6 hours (is that right?), so i'd go ahead and give it now and then again at bedtime. claritin doesnt' wrok as well for...(more) 7-17-2012 11:09am my kids on stuff like that. also, does the bite look open or infected at all? my ds has really sensitive skin, and stuff like that can sometimes lead to infection--if you have antibacterial ointment and a bandaid, that might help.
