tremendously. For the 2nd year in a row his standardized testing shows he's more than capable of all A's. During the school year, however, he complains about doing his school work/homework and gets frustrated and blames it on Dyslexia/ADD. Tutor just emailed me and suggested I get him into therapy instead of tutoring because academically he's fine but he needs to learn how to deal w/ frustration and his anxiousness. WWYD? Fwiw, he has big issues feeling like he's different and something is wrong w/ him so he strives for normalcy. A therapist will not go over well.

Sounds like therapy is just what he needs. Explain how therapist will help him deal with his frustration. That he's capable of greatness, why let his emotions hold him back now....(more)6-14-2012 10:30am
