- I find it odd that the school only gave this name. But yes, I do know some patients are seriously mentally I'll and this is quite common. 2-13-2012 8:00pm

- Jonathan Lauter...(more) 8-2-2012 1:25pm I can only kick myself that I brought my child to him even after seeing the article about the lawsuit against him. He tells desperate parents everything they want to hear and then just manipulates them and the child. He is completely unskilled with meds and made error after error which could have been devastating but for our own decision to stop medications. He pretends to be a psychologist, but is again, unprofessional, unskilled and top dollar. You are in NYC - not North Dakota - there are options! find another child psychiatrist. I wish we had. The damage is done.

- your school psych wants to medicate a 5 yr old for anxiety??? 2-13-2012 5:29pm

- No -- anxiety, sensory, motor, social emotional issues but no spectrum diagnosis. 2-13-2012 5:42pm
- Try cbt first, give it time though. Also, the psych will tell you if a medication consult is needed. 2-13-2012 5:43pm
