82 and sometimes refers to black people as "negroes" -which was a polite and very PC thing in Mississippi for most of his life. He gets embarrassed if someone points it out to him, but at his age.... My brother's wife is a very crunchy Park Slope type who is convinced that anyone with a Southern accent is a racist and delights in harassing him over his occasional slip. (There's no talking to her either) DDs birthday party is coming up and I don't need the fireworks. What should I do?
