email etiquette questions - if you're sent a business email, is it poor etiquette to forward it to a third party, without asking the original sender's permission? Just had this... (more)
happen to me where an email I sent to two people working on the same committee, was replied to back to me and another party, but this last person was the head of the organization. My original email wasn't secret but would have been worded differently if intended for that person. And yes, I know email isn't private and can be sent anywhere, but I am asking what proper business (or even personal) etiquette is in this matter. Thanks. Would you ever contact the person who forwarded it and mention it wasn't intended for that other person? I honestly now don't trust them and wonder if it was sent intentionally.
