all asian people, people are more reserved and if you don't already know the person really well, don't count on overt friendliness and good small talk. and then when i go to parties with my non-asian friends, everyone is talkative, socially savvy. it's like a whole different world and i can't help but marvel at it a bit. i will say it, asian americans as a whole, can be socially awkward.
