WNBC learned that intelligence from overseas in the Pakistan area included limited threat information about car bombs as well as bridges and tunnels. The intelligence is not specific to individuals and is of questionable veracity.
The threat would target New York City or Washington, D.C., but other cities could not be ruled out, sources said.
