What are folks' general thoughts about this? We sent ds to MS K with services (least restrictive) but it's not worked out. We're being advised to look at most restrictive programs now. My heart still wants to give dc the benefit of the doubt that by September, he can handle something in the middle. Any btdt?
I think the younger they are, the more support you offer them. Then fade back as they get older. I know a bunch of kids who are quite damaged by being asked to operate in classrooms...(more)3-20-2009 10:42am
that didn't support them as they needed it to be, and it's very bad. I would go for the more restrictive placement and if he thrives and shows he doesn't need it, you can make a change later.
