I gifted our nanny a nice bag on top of her bonus, it is much nicer and larger than the one she has (nothing ever fits in her bag). She gifted it to her 35 year old daughter, and I am annoyed. It is the second gift she regifted to her daughter. Anything I can say to her?

Looking for the right fit for ds (8). Has ADHD hyperactive impulsive type. So doing great academically but needs help with impulse control and emotion regulation. Really struggling to identify the type of school that would be good for him. Ideally somewhere with structure and outdoor time. And where they wont call me at work every week to tell me ds pushed in line etc.

see, though, my sense is that this is a score that keeps him in the running most places (he's not interested in ivies, except maybe Cornell), and having a 1500 doesn't really make that much of a difference. Of course that's nonsense. It's the week before Thanksgiving and the school wants to let the teachers work remotely. So they hide behind the fig leaf of "safety" and shut the entire lower school down so teachers can "work" remotely. $55k plus busing contracts put the cost for Riverdale at over $60k. SAVE YOUR MONEY. THIS SCHOOL SUCKS.

word salad goes. Then about 5 years he stopped talking about character, and DEIB became the new cause celebre. So it's all about this now. Riverdale is at least as bad as I've heard Dalton and Fieldston are. Academics have suffered, though they were mediocre to begin with. But the covid stuff has put most parents over the edge. Of all the private schools in NYC, Riverdale is probably just behind Dalton for the number of days spent in remote school. They started last year 2 weeks early, allegedly to beat the covid peak... then did 1 day of in-person education and 9 days of remote. It was insane. Now they've shuttered the lower school. Secretly last spring, they doubled the number of freshmen joining, and increased the Kindergarten by 1/3. Do you think the Ivy schools and other selective schools are going to magically double the number of slots that go to Riverdale students? No -- the school just fucked the class of 2025. It's totally out of control up th
