    Hi, tomorrow will be the first time my ds will take an ACT or SAT test not at his school (ACT tomorrow). Does he need to leave his phone at home? Can he bring a small backpack with just his calculator, ticket, ID and pencils, water and a snack, or is that not allowed either? The ticket says not to bring electronics but also says you can not "handle" any electronic device from the time you are admitted...

    Well, I attended my first HS tour today. Pleasant enough. Is it generally recommended/required to write thank you notes at this very early stage of the process?
