Even though many schools say they offer FA across all years, the schools get more value from the FA they give to the top kids they take in for 9th grade. It makes sense - they boost their college acceptances for fewer years of financial aid. You will probably qualify for some FA, but not as much as you might need, and some schools explicitly say that even if you qualify they might not have the money to offer you. You could also try to hedge your bets - apply to some schools without FA. Some people try asking for FA the second or third year in -- after they've been accepted and shown a successful year at the school. GL.
