he's been taking regular meds since then too. His cardiologist gave him the ok to have sex again a month after the attack but He hasn't touched me more than 2 or 3x since! (been over 2-1/2 yrs now)...he's not even really affectionate towards me anymore. I know the reason is because he is afraid of having another attack (although he gets angry and denies this when I bring things up)...I love him very much & understand, but I am also very lonely and didn't expect to be celibate at only 44 yo. what to do? This really sucks.

  9. Los Angeles Can pregnant use the hot tub?...(more) 8-28-2013 11:02pm (1 reply)
It's not a good idea unless you can control the temperature and set it at no more than 100 degrees Fahrenheit. Soaking in hot water or sitting in a hot, steamy room can make you overheat, which raises your heart rate and reduces blood flow to your uterus, potentially putting your baby under stress or interfering with normal development. And because pregnant women have a hard time cooling down, you're more likely to pass out if you get overheated in a hot tub or sauna — which would, of course, be very dangerous.

  11. Los Angeles Need help cheering up my wife....(more) 10-18-2012 1:21pm (27 replies)
Married, with two kids. We just moved in from the Philippines barely a month ago. The kids are adjusting well since they're still pretty young (eldest just started first grade). My biggest concern is my wife since it's her first time to live outside of the Philippines and she's having a hard time coping with the culture difference. I try to encourage her to explore the neighborhood or do something different each day. I can see that she's trying the best she can but once a week (usually around Wed), she feels really down and cries and the best I can do is hug her because she doesn't want to talk about it. Any advice on how to cheer her up?

Hi, my name is Ashlee Young and I just recently graduated with a Master's Degree in piano performance from the USC Thornton School of Music. I am staying in Los Angeles and currently looking for more piano students.
I offer fun, upbeat lessons at the student's home for optimal convenience to the family. My teaching philosophy is to keep the lessons interesting and organized to help develop each student's love and appreciation for music. I understand that every student is different and so I use a specific set of books and approach that is based on each student's personality and learning style.
