need to be automatically covered just because they make life suboptimal. E.g., 20/20 vision is not a medical necessity, correcting my leg length difference, acne, or serious flatulence are not medical necessities either. The only reason infertility-related conditions are thought of as a medical necessity is that adoption is seen as too difficult or second-class. Now I am not a total idiot, I know it's not that simple and that people tend to have a biological imperative to procreate, and that it can be devastating when they can't. But I also know resources are limited, so...

to surgery). Yes, not everyone is cut out for adoption - you are absolutely right. But I don't agree there aren't enough children free for adoption. It's just that most of the ones who are free (or potentially free - its own can of worms) are not ones that most people feel equipped to parent. It's certainly messy and there are no easy answers! It honestly just gets to me, though, that the focus always seems to be on the parents and their rights - right to have or adopt a baby, the right to raise a typical healthy child, the right to a straightforward adoption process...but when my kid gets screwed up in state care and then told over and over and over that he doesn't have real parents, no one really seems to be giving a shit about all that. All I ever hear about is infertility.

Hey. I'm starting IVF soon too. I've been feeling the same way for the past few days now. I gotta say its a relief to come across this post. Now I know I'm not alone in this. It feels good to know that someone understands. I hope we both get through this. Good luck to you, hun.

Hello. I had a question. Have you selected a place yet? Let me know where you plan on going. I'm currently looking for reliable and affordable places to get this treatment done. So far I haven't come across the perfect place. But I'm hopeful. Maybe we could help each other out here. Let me know.

Hi all. Hope you guys are doing well. I considered your advice. You guys are right. I too think IVF is the answer here. Considering my age. I dont want to take any risks. I dont even have much money saved. So, I think I've made my decision.

Hello. Thank you for commenting. I'm glad it worked for your friend. May I ask the cause of her infertility? The treatment really depends on that. Congratulations to her though. This gave me hope. Need prayers.

Great decision in my opinion. I want to go for it too. I made this decision a while ago. I'm currently looking for a good fertility clinic. I think this is the most crucial part. So I'm taking my time. Good luck to you though. Hope it works.

She is right. Money shouldn't be a problem now. The clinics that are affordable do exist. They are not just affordable but the treatments are up to the mark too. Nothing is impossible now. A friend of mine got her treatment done from one of these places. Things worked out for her. They will for you too. Good luck.

Hello. People have been talking about this place where these procedures are really affordable. At first, I didn't take it seriously. I decided to call them and get all the relevant information. There are no hidden charges and they shared the plan with me. And I think it was really affordable. I might go for it. You can check it out.

Hey. I'd have suggested IVF too. I know a friend who went for it too. She is pregnant now. It didn't work the first time, unfortunately. But the second time it did. So dont freak out if it doesn't work the first couple of times. It's common. Good luck.

Hey guys. How are you all doing? My name is Samantha. I'm a new member here. My sister suggested I join this forum. So here I am. I've been married for a while. We have been TTC ever since. But it never seemed to work out for us. It got really frustrating. After a lot of thinking, we have decided to try assisted conception. We will be starting IVF soon. Just need some encouragement and support. Thanks a lot. Need prayers.

This is so great. Thank you so much for replying to my post. Congratulations on being pregnant. That too, through IVF. It must have been quite tough. We too are starting IVF soon. I'm really nervous about all this. But I'm looking forward to it too. After years of trying, there is finally something different happening. More hope is there too. I would really like to hear your success story. It would be really helpful. Thank you so much. Looking forward to hearing from you again. Good luck with the birth of your baby.

Hii. Thanks for the kind words. It was a tough journey. But my doctors' and the family's support kept me going. They believed in me. The first IVF cycle did not work for me. I was pretty bummed. I had lost all hope. I tend to get paranoid easy. But they told me to be strong and go for it again. And so I did. Miraculously, it worked the second time. No one knows why it didn't work the first time though. The second time was the charm for me. So it is better if you prepare yourself for any kind of result before you go for it. Good luck.

It only makes you more miserable. Good luck with IVF. Hope it works.

Hey. How are you? Welcome to this forum Samantha. I'm glad you joined. I'm sorry to hear about your struggles with conceiving a child. I faced these problems too. Didn't think it was a such a big deal. I thought a few meds would solve the problem. But I was wrong. I wasted a little too much time on this. But I'm glad you did not make the same mistake. Glad to know you are starting IVF soon. I hope it goes well for you. Accuracy and timing play a huge role in this. Make sure there are no mistakes from your side. Good luck.

Hi. Hope you are doing well. So good to hear about this. I know someone who is currently on a clinic hunt. Apparently, their previous experience was not so good. She is looking for a good fertility clinic that is affordable too. Maybe you could tell us more about yours? It would really help her out a lot. Poor girl has been suffering so much because of her infertility. I've decided to help her out. But there's nothing much I can do here now, can I? Anyway, good luck with your procedure. I hope you get pregnant soon. Let us know how it goes. Good luck!!!

Hello. I myself am starting IVF soon. We have been TTC for a couple of years. But nothing seems to work for us. We even tried medication. Our doctors suggested IVF this time. We are quite nervous. I dont know what to expect or feel about this. I'm glad I joined this forum. At least, now I know I have other people in the same boat as me. I hope your friend has chosen a good fertility clinic for the procedure. It's important that the clinic is reliable. It would be nice if you keep us updated on this. That would be really helpful for me. Good luck to her.

Hello. This is amazing news. So good to know that she is finally doing this? Why isn't she here though? Anyway, I wish her very good luck with IVF. I've been looking for good fertility clinics these days. It would be nice if you tell us how her experience was after she is done. It would mean a lot to me.

Hi. Hope you are doing well. I can imagine what she is going through. Fertility struggles are so hard. I went into depression because of this. But I'm glad I didn't give up. Even though I was on the verge of it. But things worked out in the end. I'm a mother now. I wish your friend very good luck.

Hi. How are you? What great news. I'm considering it for myself too. We haven't decided yet. But it is one of the options. I'm so sick of TTC. Its messing with my mental and physical health now. I want a break. I'm considering these options. It would be so nice of you if you update us on your friend's journey. This might be the push I need. Thank you so much. Looking forward to hearing from you. And hey, good luck to her. Sending prayers your way.

  24. Toddler This organic tampon feels full already, after 5min! Trying to be super healthy and careful during IVF but I miss my chemicals and non-organic stuff :-) 1-11-2019 9:00am (27 replies)
