- Toddlerugh! should we even consider maplewood - the homes are so pretty
- why ugh? don't you deserve a pretty home?
- i told you no already. you know it's not a good idea.
- agreed, the homes are so great. but, NO.
- i live there, and love it, but many look down on us
- what is the problem with maplewood?
- why?
- schools i guess, but they are good, especially honor classes, i really think is has to do with the number of black people living in mwood
- np- for me it's the proximity to irvington.
- i live a few blocks away, you would never know
- do you feel safe? basically i like the people i know that live there - commute is great. i can work on the school issue by getting involved. just want to feel safe
- wait till your kids are teens and start going for walks. i would have a heart attack, personally. your kids are young, yes?
- why a heart attack? sounds dramatic
- np: People like you are interesting.
- you seem a litlte over the top paranoid.

- op - this is actually why we like it - the diversity. do not want to live in all white environment esp after living in ny

- Who looks down and why?
- tell me what you love about it. what school district are you in?
- what is the problem with maplewood?
- no. it is not a great town
- why is maplewood so bad?
- crap schools
- NO! we decided against town for 2 reasons - taxes and schools - which I don't see either improving any time soon - other better towns with better train lines too - GL!
- from what I have heard (and I have done a lot of research in this) the taxes are very very high and the schools are fine up until HS. but if you have young children you could become...(more)active in the district and try to help make the schools better so that by the time your kids attended, they would be better (this is my thinking)
- is south orange better or worse?
- why ugh? don't you deserve a pretty home?
