My 12-year-old daughter's middle school has an annual fundraising event where they throw pies at members of the student council. From the pictures I've seen from past years it's an unbelievable mess with whipped cream and pudding even smeared in their hair to the point where they're totally unrecognizable. My daughter, Sarah has just been voted the sixth grader students would most like to see get hit with pies! I have to admit that I'm feeling uncomfortable about this. Sarah says she's OK with it, although she said she felt nervous.

Hey everyone, I would really appreciate you all's advise. First, a little back story. I have 2 sisters. One is in NC and the other one lives in TX about 30 mins. from me. We were not raised together. My sister that is in NC is like a distant cousin and my other sister is fucking crazy. She is a drug addict/alcoholic. I'm not saying I'm a saint, but, I AM saying I am a hell of a lot saner than she is. Oh, and I am the youngest. She has two girls who are 12 and 13. I really wish I could take these girls and raise them myself, well, with my husband and kids. She does not discipline them and they disrespect her and treat her like shit. She either wants to JUST be their friend, or she doesn't want to deal with punishing herself if the girls are punished. For example, if she grounds them, she's grounded, she has to stay home and watch them w/o t.v. and internet, going out, etc. She is always out with the girls, she lets them go to bed at anytime they want 2 - 4
