She comes around to 90 % of the suggestions eventually and then suddenly it is she that has conceived them. I'm fine with that but it's frustrating waiting for her to make the leap...

They were in the process of separating when he died. He just wanted me to think things through because that is what happens. Maybe she is a bit resentful in that regard.
