communicates well, goes to school, has pretend play, etc. He does have weak fine motor and was slow to talk (got ear tubes shy of 2, caught up easily/appropriately/quickly) - in short, I'm sensitive to signs. Last month one of my friends (who has two older boys) said a lot of boys do this type of play. I always thought this type of "play" was typically a sign of autism but now that she said that, I did see two other boys doing this?? Curious.

  5. Preschool For those who questioned why Angelina takes hormones after her surgery...(more) 3-24-2015 8:10pm (6 replies)
Why do women take hormones afterward?
If a woman goes through premature menopause, which happened [in Jolie's case], there's actually an increased risk of developing heart disease. The estrogen that a woman is producing until her 50s is actually protective. Because heart disease is so prevalent in this country, it is generally felt that the benefits of hormone replacement therapy outweigh any potential risks.

I'm trying to find out if there's interest among moms who don't have college degrees to go back to school.

I was able to finish my accredited college degree for less than $8,000 by studying on my own schedule and testing out of classes when I needed to. I would love to show moms who don't have a lot of time and/or money how to do what I did. Are there moms out there who would want to go back to school if they could do it on their own schedule and at an affordable rate (definitely less than $10k)?
