bed. i know we will be moving within the year and wanted to wait to get a whole bedroom set then. Is this a stupid idea to buy the toddler bed?

yes, just get a twin bed and the cheap metal frame. you can use the mattress with whatever set you buy. or, get a twin mattress and put in floor. my friend did that for about 6 mo. 1-8-2009 3:08pm

i went with a twin bed in this sitch. even if you just buy a metal twin bed frame, then later you can get a headboard and matching furniture for it. 1-8-2009 3:08pm
