- I have parakeets now but I know a parrot is a whole different story to care for. 4-22-2012 5:39pm
- yeah, I don't have the time to devote to such a bird. I have a conure now and it's the most I can handle at the moment (not to mention my dog) 4-22-2012 5:43pm
- are you a dh? I have a dh dear friend here with a conure 4-22-2012 5:44pm
- nope 4-22-2012 5:44pm

- why is he gay? 4-22-2012 5:38pm
- his cage looks too small for him 4-22-2012 5:38pm
- op: it is not his usual cage. My parents brought the smaller one since he's staying with me. the big one wouldn't fit in the, it's taller than me. 4-22-2012 5:39pm

- What makes him gay? 4-22-2012 5:39pm
- op: he is really attached to my Dad, and with my Dad out of town, he's moved his attentions to my DH. but DH was gone this weekend, so the parrot was really quiet and depressed. 4-22-2012 5:41pm
- he's beautiful! My ds and dh would love him. They'd love to have a parrot, but I'm afraid the dogs would eat him. 4-22-2012 5:39pm
- my gay florist had one of those (although i'm not sure if the parrot was also gay) and the poor thing had some stress condition that made his feathers fall out. 4-22-2012 5:39pm
- op: yeah this parrot gets stressed a lot and then pulls his feathers out. typical. 4-22-2012 5:40pm
- they pluck them out, they don't fall out. Happens when the poor bird is in a cage all day long with little stimulation. They are super smart and get bored easily 4-22-2012 5:40pm
- is that why i pluck my leg hairs?! my intelligence?? Finally makes sense! 4-22-2012 5:41pm +2 likes
- don't know, but I applaud your fine motor skills 4-22-2012 5:42pm
- op: true although my dad's parrot spends the majority of his time out of his cage and still goes through phases of plucking his feathers out. 4-22-2012 5:42pm
