past 2 yrs they have booked their dc's party on the weekend of her birthday, once on the actual day and then call us to say we hope you weren't planning on having a party on that day. This year they knew that we were going to have a 3rd birthday party, so they booked their party space back in July for a Nov party and called us and told us they booked it and not to book ours on that day. It happened to be the day I wanted but didn't book anyhting b/c it was July. We have all the same friends, now I had to book my dc's party 2 weeks after her actual party

- There's two things here. First of all it's not their fault your kids have the same birhtday. Second, it was nice of them to tell you what day they booked.
