here. I am moving back to a small progressive city in the midwest. I switched my profile to reflect this and have literally received 20 mails in one day. And half of them are from men I would actually consider dating. They are good looking, interesting, working at interesting jobs, articulate, gentlemanly, etc. This never happened to me in NYC. In fact, I only had good luck dating foreigners who ended up here on accident (for school or work) because they didn't quite know what they were getting themselves into. So, really, if you are single and frustrated with men here I think it might be prudent to just leave. The difference is really night and day so far.
