stored all year until the next holiday. In our non-existent storage, given that we live in a tiny NYC apt. But it's a moot issue, as 3yo breaks it before we can even store it. I'm thinking of the blown-glass Nutcracker and the sugar diorama Easter egg here.

he wasn't even allowed to take the paper off--it was a multi-piece (50+) motorized train set for under the tree, but we were all informed that it was only for him to look at, he couldn't touch it or play with it.

- No...the funny (but sad) thing is that FIL was in charge of opening it and putting it together. The pieces were just crumbling in his hands--it was a really cheaply-made set....(more) 4-9-2010 1:06pm
We ended up with a few cars and less than half the tracks. Motorized piece was even leaking something (and didn't work, so the set itself was useless.)
