    DD is 6 (11/05), had been in speech therapy from 18 months to beginning K. Is having assistance with sounds, sight words etc. She is having a really hard time with processing...(more) 6 min ago (1 reply) *
    sounds when she sees them on paper and getting correct sound articulated. She was never dx as officially apraxic but anyone that evaluated her thought her to be slightly so. I am afraid as I was then, that this would affect her reading/cognitive skills in school. Can anyone recommend activities we can do to help her? Some tests she is 29/40 but on one in particular she was 12/40. TIA

    My DD called, a junior at Suffolk, to say that she needed money for spending. I pay the rent, over 1000 a month and the utilities and I buy food. She would like another 800 or so for spending money. She does work hard but needs more money for spending. I am out on disability fighting stage four cancer. I want to do everything I can for her but I feel this may be over doing it. What do you think?

    My daughter has a food allergy. She has been a Girl Scout for 2 years and has sold over 300 boxes of cookies but can't eat any.
