                learning, and she generally behaviorally is good there. Some wandering attention but they said lots of other times she stays on task. Self esteem is definitely becoming the big issue though -- I think she is starting to see how she has less self control than peers, and she keeps saying shehates herself for getting into trouble so much.

          do the best you can, though it feels horrible, and often you are doing a better job than you think because the material is fresh for you. The other part of this is mastering a confident attitude in the classroom which will take you far (and is kind of ephemeral - I don't think you can magically have it your first semester).
