- Well, mom to 2 boys here. 2yo girls and 2yo boys tend to play differently, especially in groups. Usually schools try to keep classes more even for this reason. Now if DD and the one...(more)other girl in the class don't really hit it off... she's got no one.

- when my DD was 3, she was in a similar situation for her SN preschool class. While not ideal, it did work out fine. She played with the boys or the other girl and the next year went...(more)into a class that was more evenly divided. The nice thing is that it made her comfortable playing with boys or girls.

- He was last year after his mom died and he was laid off. And no, why would it? My father has battled severe depression and attempted suicide and he used to ask me if I was disappointed...(more)in him (when I was 16). So sad, no way that makes me think less of someone. Like if they had cancer.
